Keeping all staff safe from exposure to asbestos.

Asbestos is without doubt one of the biggest hazards and creates one of the biggest risks to construction workers health.
The Health and Safety Executive estimates that about 5,000 people die every year from asbestos caused cancers.
Large amounts of asbestos were used in new and refurbished buildings before 2000. Blue (crocidolite) and brown (amosite) asbestos were banned by law in 1985. Manufacture and supply of all asbestos was banned by the end of 1999.
Make sure you keep your staff trained and have systems in place to keep all staff safe from exposure to asbestos.
